KVKK / Data Protection Notice
Information notice on personal data processing activities carried out by Solustiq as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Definitions
- Personal data
- Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
- Special-category data
- Data listed in KVKK Art. 6 such as race, ethnic origin, health, biometric data.
- Data subject
- The natural person whose personal data is processed.
- Data processor
- A natural/legal person who processes data on behalf of the controller.
- Cookie
- A small text file placed on your device that carries your browsing preferences.
Categories of personal data processed
Solustiq processes the following categories to the extent required by its activities.
We do not request special-category data through our site. Any such data sent to us voluntarily is not processed unless explicit consent is given and is securely deleted.
Purposes of processing
- Establishing, performing and managing contractual relationships
- Handling service requests, proposals and brief processes
- Measuring customer satisfaction and responding to contact requests
- Invoicing, accounting and meeting financial obligations
- Meeting legal obligations and providing information to authorities
- Ensuring site and digital product security, preventing fraud
- Sending commercial electronic messages where explicit consent is given
- Evaluating candidate applications and managing HR processes
Legal grounds
Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds set out in KVKK Art. 5 and 6:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 5/2-c)
- Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç) — Tax Procedure Law, Turkish Commercial Code, KVKK, e-invoice regulations
- Legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 5/2-f) — system security, logs, quality
- Explicit consent (Art. 5/1) — marketing communications, cookie preferences
- Establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5/2-e)
Collection method
Your personal data is collected through our website forms, email correspondence, verbal/written meetings, contracts, invoices, our mobile and web applications, server logs, cookies and social media channels, either by automated or partially automated means, or by non-automated means as part of a data record system.
Transfers
Your data may be shared with the following parties solely for the purposes above and with appropriate safeguards:
- Competent public authorities (where legally required)
- Professional advisors such as accountants, auditors, legal counsel
- Cloud infrastructure, email, payment and hosting providers (as data processors)
- Business partners and suppliers
Where cross-border transfer is required, appropriate mechanisms under KVKK Art. 9 (standard contractual clauses or binding corporate rules) are used.
Retention periods
When the periods expire, data is destroyed in accordance with the applicable regulation.
Rights of the data subject
Under KVKK Art. 11 you may exercise the following rights:
- Learn whether your personal data is being processed
- Request information if it has been processed
- Learn the purpose and whether the data is used accordingly
- Know the third parties to whom it has been transferred (domestic/abroad)
- Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
- Request deletion/destruction within the conditions of the KVKK
- Request that corrections/deletions be communicated to recipients
- Object to results derived from automated systems that adversely affect you
- Claim damages if you suffer loss due to unlawful processing

To exercise your rights, you may use the following channels in accordance with the Communiqué on the Application Procedures and Principles for Data Controllers:

Applications are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest; any additional cost will follow the tariff set by the Authority.
